Vent!!!!!!! Food $$$$$$$$$$$

I went to the store over the weekend and my goal was to not buy as much junk food thinking out of sight out of mind. My plan was to buy more fruits and veggies to use as snacks in my lunch and I was shocked at how much more expensive it is vs the junk food. They talk about fat America when the price of a watermelon is 6$ and goes bad just as fast as you by it but chips or cookies is .99 cents WTH sorry Im shoping for a family of 4 on a small budget and am trying my best but what do they expect............. Sorry for the vent

    It can depend on where you go and what you buy. Popular foods are more expensive because the sellers know they can sell high. See what they have for cheap and be inventive?
