I just found this recipe and am dying to try it. I got it from this website http://lifewithcheeseburgers.com/2012/03/07/the-best-peanut-butter-oatmeal-protein-cookies/
1/2 cup sugar (If you want, you can sub another granulated sweetener)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
3/4 cup vanilla protein powder
1 cup peanut butter (I like crunchy but you can use creamy of course!)
4 cups quick oats
Optional: Stir in some raisins, chocolate chips, coconut, etc!
Here’s What Ya Do:
Over medium heat, cook the sugar, milk, and honey in a pot until it bubbles. Lower the heat and stir in the peanut butter until it melts. Stir in the protein powder, then remove from heat and quickly stir in the oats until it’s all combined. Drop into evenly-sized balls onto waxed paper and shape into cookies, or pour into a sprayed pan and cut into bars after it cools (if you can wait–but I bet you won’t be able to!).

I put it into the recipe analyzer.. assuming 1% milk used,( I used safeway chunky pb and great value oats for the calc) and a yield of 2 dozen, and assuming 3 scoops protein powder( pure protein) is about equal to 3/4 cup.. they's be 155 cals each..18 carb, 6 fat, 7 protein, 1 sat fat, and 54 sodium.
OP please feel free to correct or tell us what you used : )0 -
