Scale hasn't moved in 3 weeks!

I'm trying not to freak but its so hard not to! I was consistely losing at 1lb per week up to 15 pounds lost. After reading many, many threads, I learned that I was eating too few calories (1200-1400) daily. Some people on here advised not to change if I was losing but I did anyway because I didnt want to continue "starving myself"!

Upped my calories to 1800 daily and that dang scale has not moved in 3 whole weeks!!

Give it more time, I guess?

    We've all been there.

Are you exercising? - I'f not I'd do so.

if you are, maybe increase the intensity. Do some interval training - maybe.

When I plateaued a couple of times, I changed my workouts (your body does condition itself to what you are doing reducing the benefit). I also stopped weighing myself for a couple days and just tried to get it off my mind. One time when I plateaued, it turns out I was constipated - a little more water and fiber solved that problem.

3 weeks? I've been around the same weight for a freaking YEAR but my body has improved. I'm also within 20 pounds of my goal after losing 54. Get off the scale for a while and take pictures. Besides that, follow the advice given by Goal_Line. Solid advice.

Yes, I'm hitting the gym 4-5 times per week. 30 min nonstop on the elliptical at intervals with resistence level between 4-9. Then I do 30 minutes of various weight machines focusing on upper/lower body on various days.

I will add more water to my diet. Currently only drinking 24 ounces a day. The rest of my fluids come from unsweet tea!

1 year?!?! I would be a nut case if that happens to me!!

I have taken pictures and I am SO happy with the reults overall, just getting discouraged because I feel like my success has come to a screeching halt!

I will keep at it though and make a few changes. Thanks so much for weighing in here. :-)

You could be losing fat and gaining lean mass? - Did u take other measurements when you started, hips, thigh, waist, etc? I wish I had. Weight really is not a perfect measure of progress.
