Resting (or stopping) during a workout

Does that hinder results? Now, I know it does no good for your endurance, but as long as you complete the work out, can you expect to get the same results you would if you were to do it all consecutively?

Thanks, and I'm sorry I post so much D':

Ideally you would finish the workout uninterrupted but the reality is you do the best you can based on your current fitness level. If that means taking breaks then take breaks. The worst case scenario is that you progress at a slightly slower rate (which is ok too)

Make one of your goals to be able to complete it but the idea is to become fitter, not kill yourself in the process!

I try my absolute hardest to get a solid workout. If I can't I keep moving, to stay "warmed up"

For example, once my son had a horrible diaper incident right in the middle of my ripped in 30 DVD, and hubs wasn't around. So I paused the DVD and marched in place as I changed the diaper, then got back to it.

If it's the actual workout that is killing you do badly that you can't push through, Id try stepping it down to something closer to your ability level. Your workout should be hard, but not so hard that you can't do it.
