My fave dressing at the minute is a thai one..it makes a few servings

    tablespoon lemongrass paste/puree
    1 chopped garlic clove
    1 chopped chilli
    1/2 small shallot chopped
    tablespoon lime juice
    1/2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
    tablespoon olive oil

This makes quite a thick sauce that you can thin down to taste with a little apple juice (the sweetness really works)

    Enjoy!

    I like this one -- http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/09/low-fat-buttermilk-ranch-dressing.html

She has other dressings too that are good.

Agreed. I love the blue cheese one and the tomato red wine.
  • Hey I do a a really nice one with lime juice, olive oil and finely chopped garlic.

This is what I use and it's for 1 person

1/2 tsp finely chopped flat leaf parsley
1/4 clove of finely chopped garlic
    1 tbsp lime juice
    25 ml olive oil
A pinch of salt and black papper

I normally add red onion to the mix...

Add the onion & garlic to a bowl
    Add the parsley
Mix in the lime juice and olive oil
Add salt (if required) and black pepper to taste

    And enjoy :)

I'm Thai. I always have my salads with Lime juice, sprinkle of salt and a lot of chili pepper... No oil, no sugar, no fat.

Yummy! I will have to try that.

I know I responded earlier, but this is what I've been eating the last couple of days:

about half a tablespoon of white cooking wine
about half a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
    tablespoon of olive oil
about a tablespoon of lemon juice
healthy sprinkle each of garlic salt, black pepper, and dill
little squirt of Dijon mustard (maybe half a teaspoon?)'

Shake it all up and you're good to go. :)

This makes several servings, but I usually toss 2 tbsp of labne, 2 tbps of greek yogurt, and some herbs like dill and basil in the blender
