Anyone have any tips or tricks to getting turkey bacon crisp? It seems like it takes twice as long as pork bacon to get crispy.

I've been off pork for 15 or 16 years now and have had this struggle just as long. I love turkey bacon but the best thing I can suggest is to shop around different brands and see which one crisps the best for you. ONE method I've found that tastes great and is the most crisp I can find is to put it in the oven on a broiler pan or something else where the heat can get to all sides (I personally use a cookie cooling rack) and cook for the suggested time, but then flip on the broiler momentarily and don't leave the oven door (watch it like a hawk), because it'll burn fast. It's still not as crisp and wonderful as regular bacon but it's the best I've gotten so far.
Good luck!0
