Okay, so I know that a lot of people post this..I just need some advice.

I'm 20 years old
5'4" and about 129 pounds right now.

Don't get me wrong, I love my body...I feel way more fit than I ever have before.

I'd love to lose just a few pounds....I've been stuck at this weight for a while and I've been at 1200 cals a day with exercise every day.

Should I up my cals to something like 1500 to help thin me out some more? I ask this because I hear all these women lose weight once they up their cals!

Interested in eating more a day with hopes of not sabotaging all my hard work :)

Please send useful thoughts! If it worked for you, I wanna hear your story! :)

Sorry to say it didn't work for me. I also upped my cals inhopes of ending a plateau. Over 3 months all I did is gain 10 lbs. I went back to lower calories and have lost 3. So frustrating as I would love to eat more. But honestly, that is how I got fat to begin with. So now I am back to eating less. I did get a fitbit and discovered I burn way less then everyone estimated I should be burning, so that could be the problem. Maybe see what your aactual TDEE is before you trust any calculators to tell you to eat more.

It worked for me. I was stuck at 118 forever. Upping my cals got me down to 115. Adding in strength training got me down to 112 (and a size4 :-) )
