Success or Failure

I caved to cookie dough today, It is always my demise. I not only caved once, I ate 4 pieces. :blushing: I'm disappointed, but at the same time I'm kind of proud. Normally, I would just give up and tell myself I already messed up today and there is no fixing it and one bad decision would lead to another. Today, I accepted that I consumed 514cals worth of cookie dough so I was going to have to burn it off. And that's exactly what I did. I had to work out for 70 minutes to eat that dough, and I'm pretty sure it was worth every second.

Sounds like success to me. You ate what you liked, and then you worked it off, I say good job.0

See?! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Never give up, Never surrender! We all fall, it's what we do when we pick ourselves up that counts! And besides, it's Cookie Dough!!!!0 -
I think I will never give up on my favorite sweets. But I just might eat less of them and less often. You did a good job of eating and working off. Good job for take a little pleasure and make sure it did not get in the way of your goal!0

Never write call that a failure. Sometimes you just CRAVE something and HAVE to have it! It isn't a sin and a few pieces is better than a whole packet. What makes this even better is that you didn't let that discourage you, showing that you have what it takes to go the long haul. Dieting is temporary, living healthy is a lifestyle. There will be days you have cravings and don't cave to them just like there will be days you have cravings and indulge in them. Once in a while isn't bad, especially if you stay active and most importantly NEVER EVER give up or beat yourself up over it. Cookie dough is a yummy treat!0

I say good job. You were human and took action to counter your human-ness. There was a time in the past when I would say "oh eff it, I ate one bad thing i'll start over on Monday" now I just log it and move on
oh and *said in Homer Simpson voice* "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......COOKIE DOUGH" sorry I couldn't help it0 -
Great job! I always admire those who don't just give in because of a few set-backs.0

good for you, you will find low to no cal thing along the way for those cravings, mine was chocolate.
I found a 0 cal 0 carb chocolate sauce at waldensfarm.com .yum. they have the best stuff, except the carmel dip. yuk.
got marshmello dip , its ok but needs yogurt to help it along.
well guess i craved more than chocolate huh. but 0 cal and 0 carbs are great.
I also use the yamnoodles 0 cal. and lots of protein.
haven't had a candy bar in 8 months.
but I am craving good stuff now.
keep up the good work.

That's exactly what I used to do. Every time I slipped I would let myself start over so I'd have weekends on completely destructive binges.
Thanks everyone for the support! You guys are the best!0
