There's a pandora radio station I like called "Dance Cardio" I got a lot of ideas from it. I did buy some tracks.
+ (forgive me if I'm giving you repeated advice) have you looked into http://jog.fm/ it gives you song names based on the BPM.
I hope this helps you.
And bumping for the playlists already shared as well.0 -
BPM's! Thanks, Theresmynapki
jogfm.com is a really good website for picking jogging or walking tunes. You plug in your jogging or walking pace & it gives you the recommended BPM range & a list of songs.
Faster songs help me keep my pace0 -
My workout playlist, as of today, in alphabetical order, with all their BPMs.... psh, I'm not a nerd or anything...
Did you sort this out using just the terminal on you custom linux kernel?0 -
I have a variety of music on my ipod for working out. It ranges from rap/hip hop to rock lol
Some of the tracks I love are:
Til I Collapse-Eminem (great song to pump you up!)
Bring It- Trapt
Domino- Jessie J
Feel So Close- Calvin Harris
Rock You Like a Hurricane- Scorpions
Youth Without Youth-Metric
Crawling- Linkin Park
Futuristic Lover- Katy Perry0 -
I'm a Geek so this may not be to your liking. These are not "heavy" but they are EPIC so take with a grain of salt.
I LOVE working out to music Scores. They take me to another world and take my mind off working out/sweating. I play WoW, Skyrim and Diablo III so I envision fighing demons, saving the High Heavens, killing dragons and fighting Gladiators. (I freely admit I'm a Geek and I'm proud of it. I blame my hubby )
My favorite is the group "Two Steps from Hell". They do the music to the movie trailers. They just blow my mind!
I have so many favorite songs from them it's hard to choose.
Archangel from their 2011 Nero album is EPIC! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGn5bBaFOfw&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLib7nFSI8GKe8Uze1rHnHQA
In fact, as I was doing my walking today I didn't realize, until half way into this song, that I was directing! Cars were passing me and I know I looked like a dork. *facepalm*
Another one of my favorites is "To Glory" from their Invincible album. This reminds me of Gladiator and 300. I see the battle scenes when I listen to this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZ1GbBlS9wM&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLib7nFSI8GKe8Uze1rHnHQA
Also "Ocean Princess" from their Nemesis II album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqNRIM2pdaQ&feature=my_liked_videos&list=LLib7nFSI8GKe8Uze1rHnHQA
I can't leave out "United we stand, divided we fall" also from their Nero album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6O6Q1OiF6LI&feature=related
Another group is called "Epic Score". I am in love with "Siren's Call" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NknmpdEEFI&feature=autoplay&list=LLib7nFSI8GKe8Uze1rHnHQA&playnext=2
Last is "Future World Music" song "Dream Chasers" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysusZfArPoI&feature=related
Again, they're not "heavy" music but that makes it no less epic.
Good luck and happy workouts!0 -
Okay, so its a little off topic but i found, what in my opinion is, an awesome site for music ideas... http://upchucky.com/JukeCity/1990/juke.htm plug in any year you want where the link says 1990 and you can hear all the hit songs from that year... cant believe how many songs i used to love and forgot about are on their throughout the different years.
And thanks again to every1 for their brilliant ideas0 -

If your like me then try reggaeton ( I'm not Hispanic) and you don't even have to understand it , the beat is great and will keep you motivated and not even want to stop. I use it especially for running or jogging . Try it out and let me know what you think .
