Hey everyone! So I've lost about 25lbs since May 1st, and I'm feeling excellent! However, all my clothes don't fit right yet and all of my "before weight gain" clothes dont fit yet! :/ i HATE this phase! I mean I have A LONG way to go before my old clothes fit.

Anyone else going through this?

I am going through basically the same thing, except with 12 lbs instead of 25. I am down to one pair of jeans that fit well. I had enough shirts that I am finding ones that I couldn't wear before, but can wear now. I kind of planned on buying one pair of nice jeans every time I go down a size. That should last me until my weight loss steadies out a bit. Other than that, I just shop mostly at yard sales and thrift stores. Most of my "pre-weight gain" clothes are about 50 lbs away still.

My problem with clothing is that I have always been an awkward size. People who make plus size clothing tend to think that all plus size women have large breasts. This is not the case. I was wearing xxl in most shirts. If they were fitted or had any kind of chest definition to them, they would fit in the stomach and hips but were way to big in the chest. Since I am losing weight evenly over my body, this is still an issue.

I think you should go shopping and buy some new clothes. Even just a couple of outfits will help keep you motivated. If you have lots of friends in different sizes, you could try a clothing swap party. If there is a Freecycle group in your area, that could help as well.

    Congrats on the 25lb loss!!!
