Lightly Active vs Active

I do BodyRock almost every day and add in a running program every other day. I have an office job so during the day I mostly sit. At home I have a 2 yr old so I dont normally sit until after I work out.

Would I be considered Lightly Active or Active? I dont want to choose the wrong one then be under or over my caloric intake for the day. Either one is not good.

Thanks!

I would go with active. Even with a desk job just being at home running after a toddler is a lot of work

I would say by the sound of it you are active

I'm not sure. I'm behind a desk all day so it's sedentary for me. That's an easy one. Good luck. I hope someone has an opinion for you. :flowerforyou:

Figure out how many calories you burn doing your thing.

Figure out how many calories "lightly active" is and how many "active" is.

Choose the one with the closest number.

    Otherwise you're just guessing.

If you choose active then do you still log in your exercise or is MFP already doing that with the activity level? This is where I get confused. I chose sedentary because I am at a desk all day but I work out for 2-3 hours a day. If I chose lightly active do I still log my cardio or not?
