Take 3-4 ripe bananas, slice, and freeze overnight. Then puree in a blender until smooth, add one tablespoon of peanut butter and one tablespoon of cocoa powder for a delicious and healthy ice cream recipe! The texture is thick and creamy just like ice cream! 110 calories for a 1/2 cup :)

I have actually tried this (someone else made it), but with just the bananas, no extras and it was good.

i love this i make it all the time i have this machine called yonana and its especially for making "ice cream/frozen yogurt" out of frozen bananas.....i like to throw other fruit in and it tastes good or crumble up a graham cracker over it for a little healthier flavor
  • I love the "frozen banana trick." I've been keeping bananas in my freezer for weeks now! I just add a frozen banana, a little milk, and any other flavors to it. It's best not to refreeze though...

I do this, but mash it first because I don't have a blender for afterward. I just leave it out for 5 mins before eating.
