protein power is a great way to add protein easily without meat or fish products, and can come in many different flavors that you can add to the water you drink.
However your body absorbs protein more easily from natural sources of protein, such as meat fish or nuts, but protein powder is efficient and has a controlled amount of calories so you can diet easily.
But remember, with any protein suppliment, you want to ingest it 30 minutes before or after you work out, so your body can utilize the protein. Otherwise, excess protein (which is a lot in a 20g of protein mix) will be turned into fat. Just use sparingly and within that 30 minute window, and all will be good

Eating protein after your workout is better, it will just sit in your stomach like a lump and not digest if you consume it before. Additionally, after your workout is when your muscles are more receptive to protein, since they just got worked and need the tools to rebuild.0
