Hey guys and girls I have decided to start living the good life well good food and food exercise every day from now on. But the issue is its my first time doing anything like this so just want to know if I am doing it the correct way (Healthy Way) also do I need to eat more. My old lifestyle used to consist of 3 unhealthy meals plus snaking junk food and little exercise to no exercise a day. I have now seen the errors my ways and decided NOMORE. So my new lifestyle consists of 3 healthy whole unprocessed meals and lots of water and 60 mins of cardio at the gym every day.
Some useful information about me:
Gender: Male
Age: 20
Height: 160.7 cm
Weight: 11.3 st
Example of my old lifestyle nutrition:
Breakfast: One of these things - Weetabix or Chocolate Rice Pops or Cornflakes or Shreddies or Toast with Jam/Butter
Dinner: One of these 3 things - Beans/Spaghetti/Ravioli on 4 buttered toast slices topped with cheese
Tea Time: Something like a frozen pizza or a normal cooked meal (something like mash/oven chips, chicken/beef/pork, Yorkshire Pud, very small portion of veg, gravy, you get the idea of meal talking about the one mum makes.) with little to no veg.
Snakes: Multi Pack/Share Bag/BOGOF promos: Chocolate (M&M'S,Maltesers, etc) Biscuits and Bakery junk (Cakes, Cookies, Donuts) Ice Cream (BNJ). The worst part is I only tend get these things when there on promo like I said Multi Pack/Share Bag/BOGOF and eat the whole thing in one sitting.
Drinks: Pesi Max, Tea with milk one suger. Blackcurrant Squash and NO water.
Exercise: Sometimes gym once a week.
Example of my NEW lifestyle nutrition and exercise:
Breakfast: Whole Grain (Shredded Wheat or Oats) with measured amount of semi skimmed milk. Also switching to skim milk when I go for my next food shop. with a glass of water
Dinner: Whole Grain (Pasta or Rice or Salad Sandwich only 2 slices of bread) with Piece of Fruit (Orange or Apple) and a glass of water.
Tea Time: Lots of fresh stemmed Veg (Carrots, Peas, Broccoli, Cauliflower) Protein (Skinless Chicken Breast or Fish) and stemmed potatoes. and not to forget a class of water.
Drinks: ONLY Water NO fizzy or tea
Snack: Fruit of course.
Exercise: 60 mins cardio at the gym every day with plenty of water burning 300-600 calories.
I have been doing this for over a week now its been fine really. Just wondering what I am doing it ok (Healthy)

I don't have any great advice; it looks like you've got a fantastic plan there. Don't beat yourself up if you slip up, just remember the feeling of failure and try to do better next time. If you have the motivation, you'll find your routine and make it work. Good luck!0

Wow! You have made some BIG changes!
welcome to the world of Enjoying food not consuming food
some observations...
Wheres lunch?
Try and eat lunch. Breakfast is not going to keep you going until dinner.
Go easy on the cardio. 60 mins a day everyday is alot! what kind of cardio and what time do you do it? Do you do weights?
Try and get some protein in each meal including breakfast. boiled or poached egg is great. Egg white is better. throw some tuna or salmon on the pasta. Actually think your diet might be a bit carb heavy? do you get hungry?
*edit
Just realized your diary is open. You need to eat a bit more. AT LEAST 12000 -

For my 60 mins of cardio. I do 30 walking and jogging (150 calories) and 30 on the cross trainer (300calories).
I have also noticed I am not getting the right amount of calories also the hunger pains maybe a hint so I am going to eat some more grains to my day just had some oats with yoghurt. Would this be a good idea?0 -
If you're hungry, protein is a much better option than grains/carbs because it will keep you full for longer. Also, I definitely recommend getting some strength training in between cardio sessions. I have never had the kind of results I've seen since I started doing weights twice a week with a trainer. Otherwise, keep up the good work!0
