Healthy Packed Lunches for Picky Eaters???
I am a very picky eater. Mushy textures are hard for me to eat. I'm trying to lose weight but food is really hard to manage. Bread and cheese are my fall back foods. If anyone could help that would be great. Here are some things that I do like.
Broccoli- fresh
Corn
Little slivers of carrots
Any type of melon
Apples
I can try anything that isn't mushy.. I’m difficult.. I know

I know it sounds boring, but my dinner (i work nights so that's the meal I pack) is always a salad. It fills you up more than you would think, a yogurt with granola (i also don't like mushy, consistency is a huge factor for me), or a fruit (a pear is my favorite, it keeps you full and is full of fiber), and a small bag of baked chips (pretzels, sun chips, baked ruffles, baked cheetos),.and take along a granola bar just in case I'm extra hungry. I eat something every break so I'm never stuffed. When I'm at home, I eat less healthy, but going to work, if that's what I have to.eat, that's what I'm eating and I absolutely looooove all my lunches to be honest!0

I bought a few nice glass containers - with secure lids. When I cook dinner I put the extra in the container and bring it for lunch.
If I don't cook a full meal I use a pre-made veggie steam pack (Green Giant) and a veggie burger.0 -
Why dont you do you veggies a bit crunchy or raw?0

I love to pack "grazing" meals... that is, meals with a little bit of everything. Four olives, an apple, a hard-boiled egg, an ounce of cheese, tomato slices with balsamic and basil, and a small piece of crusty bread -- things like that. I find them visually pleasing, and kinda fun.0

I often do a variety of "chop" salad.
I dont really like lettuce or leaves, but spinach is great in a salad. If you like crunch, add some romaine or little gem.
I add some diced bell peppers, halved cherry tomatoes, cubes of cucumber.
Is avocado too mushy for you?
Add some protein - chicken pieces, ham, prawns, cubes of cheese.
I usually dress just with lemon juice, but cottage cheese or humous stirred though it works wewll too.0 -
Salads make great lunches. Just pack the ingredients separately, especially the dressing, so that it doesn't get an unpleasant texture. (I always add canned chicken, tuna, or some leftover meat from the previous night's dinner to make the salad more filling and get in more protein.) Soups can work well if there are any that you like. I usually also add some yogurt and fruit or an apple with some peanut butter to finish off my lunch.
And you can make healthy sandwiches too. Bake some chicken breasts on the weekend (seasoned however you like). Then you can just slice them and have roasted chicken sandwiches. If you add some lettuce an tomato, and maybe some carrots, celery, or sliced peppers on the side, you can have a very filling and tasty lunch. (You may want to bring mayo, mustard, or whatever condiment you prefer separately so that it doesn't make the bread mushy.)0 -
I like to bring rice that I've cooked the night before, also salmon leftovers travel well. That's if you like fish..
I also like salads, yogurt, fruit, carrots, broccoli, tuna, and low calorie bread but im not picky at all! Good luck
