Omega Oil - good for me or not? I dunno.

I bought this oil- President's Choice Blue Menu Omega Oil which is a blend of grapeseed, extra virgin olive and flaxseed oils. Here are the stats per 2 tsp:

Calories: 80
Saturates: 1 g
Trans: 0 g
Polyunsaturates: 4.5 g
Omega 6: 4 g
Omega 3: 0.5 g
Monounsaturates: 3.5 g

I've been adding 2 tsp/ day to my meals, but I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not? I saw the word Omega, and thought "healthy", but I could save 80 cals. if it's not worth it.

Thoughts?

  • Did you try looking it up online for its benefits? Maybe google each ingredients benefits. I know that omega fatty acids are absolutely wonderful, so maybe if you dont have a lot of fish this is a good alternative.
