Ok, I need someone to tell me not to stop lifting weights this time even though I don't immediately lose weight... I like the way people in the gym look who are lifting... I'm climbing off the cardio and hitting the weights also... 3 days per week, 12 reps, 20 minutes worth... I want to give it a sustained effort for 3 months and see what I look like... Need some witnesses who stuck with it and didn't quit it... EVEN THOUGH THE SCALE WENT UP AT FIRST?:ohwell:

You got to just keep with it. You will love the results when you are at your goal cause not only will you have lost weight but you will think you look fit not just thin! Sooner or later you are going to start loving it and won't want to miss a day. Check out my profile for my progress so far with weight lifting.0

Will do, thanks for the inspiration!0

Remember, too, that weight lifting builds muscle mass which could explain why the scale temporarily goes up. Keep with it!0
