hi guys,
ive just joined the gym , have been doing an hour a time ( plan to do more, just getting my fitness up) i can do 25 mins on the x trainer which im proud of cos i used to struggle for 10 mins! do about 20 mins on the bike and 20 mins on the running machine but i power walk, i am struggling to run on a treadmill. this week i plan to get the rowing machine into it as well, but am i doing the right things for weight loss?
can any mums who have managed to improve there mum tum give me any tips? i think i need to loose a bit of weight before toning but should i just start them now? i really am a 'gym virgin' so any advice would be much appreciated.
also any photos of mums who have managed to get rid of the dreaded mum tum as these keep me going!

i think its important to introduce weights while u are loosing weight. that way u will hopefully not have much loose skin when you reach your goal and having a strong body is important too, it will improve your posture. you seem to be doing well with your cardio so put in 20min weights when u go to the gym, either that or have 2 days when u only do strength training.
i have 2 boys (2,5yrs and 5.5yrs) and i been going to the gym on and off for the last 11 years. but regularly for almost 2 years now (5-6days/week)0 -
please feel free to add me if you want, id help and support you with the gym bit since im a real exercise junkie0
