Hello all, just wanted to share my latest before/after photo with you. I am 44 years old and 5'2" My before photo was taken December of 2010, the after photo I took today. I have failed at this so many times before, but finally got it through my head that a) I don't have to starve to lose weight. b) this has to be a lifestyle change to work and c) I don't have to deprive myself of the things I enjoy. So here's to another 365 days on MFP!!!!

Take it one day at a time. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. Slowly make changes for the better, and make sure you are eating enough! Check out groups like Eat More to Weigh Less and Fuel The Machine. There are wonderful websites for recipes like Skinnytaste, Eating Well and Cooking Light.0 -
I'm not saying I have never slipped up and binged now and then. Goodness, we are all human!! But the trick is getting back to making good choices for yourself!!
The best is yet to come!!!!0 -

Preach it sister! It really is enough to be on track 90% of the time, and don't ever worry about the other 10% - you're still way ahead of the game. I have to remind myself, slow progress is still, PROGRESS.
You are one of my biggest inspirations on here - proud to be your friend!
I can't wait to do the next 365 days with you!0 -

Great job! I love your legs!
Thank you!!! I am quite proud of how they look again! Back in high school ZZ Tops "She's Got Legs" was very popular. An upper classman would sing it when I passed him in the hallway. I am so proud to have my legs back!0 -
Good for you! I'm on day 467 today & I remember day 365! Great milestone! Keep it up!0

THIS^ is what it is all about! Sometimes that scale lies because it doesn't know the difference between fat and muscle. I've been at a standstill for awhile but my clothes keep getting too big on me! LOL ....I'm getting into clothes I never thought I would wear again and some I couldn't wear before! Keep up the great work!! :drinker: Hats off to another 365!!0
