With age comes wisdom, well…at least that’s what they say. So, with that in mind, last night on my 34th birthday I decided to push myself to the limits, to do something so far beyond my comfort zone that it actually scares me.
I know what you’re thinking “how could anyone possibly be frightened by a workout routine”, but it’s true…this particular program that I am about to embark on, does. I’ve never been one who enjoys exercising, pushing myself to the limit, sweating, or feeling pain, but this routine will definitely incorporate all those different aspects.
With a goal set firmly in my mind and a date of Oct 17th etched in stone, I have decided to do something so drastic that it requires me to hold myself publically accountable.
All too often I think we look at success stories and focus solely on the end result without fully understanding or realizing all the blood, sweat, and tears it took to bring that individual to their ultimate goal. However, this time will be different. This time, I will blog my progress through this 60 day challenge on a daily basis. I will tell you about the program, the routines, the pain, the frustration, the fun, the ups and downs, highs and lows that come with any lifestyle change.
For 60 days I will push myself harder than I ever imagined. I will log my results – starting on day 1, day 30 and day 60. Other than those three days I will stay away from the scale and the measuring tape. If I survive round 1, I will attempt to do round 2. I have 4 months to slim down and tone my body. I’m not expecting miracles, I’m not expecting to reach my “dream body” in 4 months, but I do expect to look and feel the best I possibly can in the time allotted.
Starting today, I will begin my Insanity workout journey. Starting today, I will become a stronger more confident individual who will go any distance to reach my successful ending. Starting today, failure is not option!!
If you care to join me on my journey, whether it be emotionally or physically, I will do all I can to support you and keep you motivated. It won’t be easy, but it will definitely be worth it!!
Feel free to add me as a friend or send a message if you're interested. Keep smiling and enjoy the ride!

AWESOME! And Congratulations on your decision to embark on a new journey. I just started P90x Again! I began on Sunday and tomorrow, I will have completed my first week of exercises. I have Insanity too, but would like to conquer p90x first. Even though we are doing two different programs, I am happy to help motivate you by sending words of encouragement everyday. Good Luck on your endeavor!!!0

I wish I could...I tried out a couple of sessions...and I ended up dying at warm-up...I think I better train myself first by running and doing some other less intense workout...0

LOL no worries you two, if you can't join the challenge that's perfectly alright!! The important thing is to find something you love to do. We're all after the same thing...a successful and happily ever after :0)0

YAY, congrats on doing Insanity that's fantastic :0) I've read a lot of posts on here of people who are tempted to do it, but aren't sure what they are truly getting into, so that's why I decided to do the blog idea - I thought it would give others a clear idea of what the program is like on a day-to-day basis. Thanks for the link...I will check it out....NOW :0)0

YAY with a double shot of WOOT WOOT!! Glad to have you on board!! I can't wait to reach week two...I just started my first week and loving every second of it :0) Well, I love it when it's over, not during...lol. During the workout I'm usually swearing and wanting to die...lol. Kidding, but I think you get the point!0
