My friend has just text me to say he is at work for another 6 hours and forgotten his lunch. I know he is not near any shops etc but it's chucking it down with rain and a mile walk for me to get to his office...

Do I be nice and go take him something or let him suffer? ARGH!

If its lightening or anything--I wouldn't walk in that for a mile. If you have nothing better to do--a nice walk might be nice. Just don't forget your umbrella and of course your friend would owe you big time!! lol

    Hahahaha NO!

Then you are under no requirement to walk a mile in the rain to make up for his no food having....tell him to order something.

And mess up your hair? Tell him to hit up the vending machine or steal someone else's lunch. Or raid the candy bowl at the receptionist desk.

    Or order a pizza o_o

    That sounds good....

    <_< *hasn't eaten yet*

You should be a friend and take him lunch. Besides, a mile walk is good exercise!

I'm sorry but I would not walk in the rain to go bring him lunch. He can order a pizza/take out. He's a big boy, let him figure it out. Its not like hes your son and you forgot to pack his lunch.

Think of all the stuff you can get him to do one day just by pointing out you walked a mile in the rain for him.......

Does he have a car? Does he not get a lunch break? If not, then I say go ahead and be the trustworthy friend and help him. What comes around goes around. Ya never know, you may be in the same postition one day...

Right, I am back and soggy. I took him food, Been getting texts of gratitude the whole walk home.

To be fair he didn't ask me to do it - if he had though I think I would have told him to shove off!

Oh, and he doesn't get paid until next week so I know that means he is broke lol
