Ok, so I have been using my elliptical for a week now getting between 1-2 hours a day (except last saturday which was my rest day). Of course, I don't do it all in one sitting...I break it up during the day. Anyway....I haven't lost any weight but my face seems to be thinning out and I've noticed the backs of my thighs are smoothing out. Any way to get things moving on the weight loss? I drink tons of water and watch what I eat..thanks!

I know that you said you do 1-2 hours throughout the day...but is this at a constant pace? In my training (both personal and with the athletes I work with) I have found much more success with interval training, more specifically with HIIT training. More or less, the concept of interval training is to interrupt moderate/low intensity activity with bursts of high intensity.
For example
5-10 minute warm up walk
jog (about 50% intensity) 1 minute
sprint (at or near 100% intensity) 20 seconds
**repeat this interval 5x**
5-10 minute cool down
Obviously these increments can change and are subject to cardio/training level and is for a run...but the idea remains the same for an elliptical0 -
I love my Elliptical! I too notice how much my body changes and it's because you are building muscle.....I lose slowly but surely and you will too...Just hang in here!0
