I am in LOVE with the following ratio:
-1/2 cup rolled oats (I use Quaker brand)
-2/3 cup vanilla almond milk (I use Almond Breeze, sometimes sweetened, sometimes unsweetened, depending on what I mix in)
-1/2 cup greek yogurt (I use fage 0% - I get the BEST thick and creamy consistency using this and it is one of the lowest in calories!)
-1-2 tbsp chunky peanut butter (chunky for crunch!)
-whole diced banana
I sometimes tweak what I add to this. Different kinds of fruit, nuts, nutella instead of peanut butter, etc. Keep in mind this makes a generous portion so you could cut the recipe down or just do what I do and have half for breakfast and save half for lunch or a snack!0 -
1/2 cup oats, plain greek yogurt, pumpkin puree and almond milk.
1/2 T. of chia seeds
pumpkin pie spice

2 cups steel cut oats
2/3 c. oat bran
8 C water
Put in 3 qt crockpot on high for 2 hours 30 minutes. Makes ten 1/2 c servings of oatmeal. We add about 1 tsp ground flax, fruit, or what have you, pop it in the microwave for about 3 minutes (700 watt) and it's awesome. Make it on the weekend, and it's ready for early morning breakfasts. We store it in those ziploc containers in the fridge.0 -

I've been making the blueberry one for a few weeks - LOVE it. I use 1 tsp brown sugar instead of the maple syrup, and increase the chia to a tablespoon.0 -

I did mine with peach and mango today, and yesterday with peach and raspberry (1/4 cup of each fruit). tonight i'm going to try cocoa and raspberry, then maybe apple cinnamon with some peanut butter (but that one might need to wait until i need to kill some calories, lol).
I modify it from the recipes on theyummylife that others have linked upthread. and honey works GREAT as a sweetener.0 -

-1/2 cup oats
-ground cinnamon (to taste)

(Correct) Stoneyfield Organic 1% Milk - Milk, 0.38 cup
Bob's Red Mill - Gluten Free Old Fashioned Rolled Oats, 1/4 cup dry (48g) 95
Biochem Sports - 100% Natural Whey Protein - Vanilla, 1 scoops (30.3g) (1.07 oz) 55
Trader Joe's - Organic Dried Cranberries, 0.025 Cup (40g) 14 (that was about 6 cranberries chopped)
Generic - Generic Raw Walnut Halves, 2 halves (chopped) 26
Nativas - Raw Chia Seeds, 1 tbsp raw 35
Add Food Quick Tools 333 (total calories)
I mixed up all this last night (with some vanilla stevia drops)

In a small mason jar (size comparable to a PB jar) I add in this order:
1/3 cup almond milk (you can choose between unsweetened and the chocolate; at 1/3 cup, the difference is 25 calories)
1T unsweetened cocoa
1/4 cup uncooked old fashioned oats
1/4 cup greek fat free plain yogurt
1T chia seeds
4 to 6 T chocolate PB2
1 to 2 tsp honey
Close jar and shake until mixed nicely. Then add half a banana, sliced, and stir. Close jar, and let sit in the fridge overnight. You can let it chill for 2 or 3 days if you want, but this stuff is so delicious it is hard to not eat it as soon as it is ready.
For those who haven't seen overnight oats before, you may be hesitant to eat "uncooked" oats, or a oatmeal concoction served chilled. Do it once. You'll be a happier, healthier person. For people who like the idea of chocolate oatmeal, this will be better than your best imaginings.
With maximum ingredient amounts, this recipe comes in under 410 calories of healthy goodness. You can easily edit the sugar/PB2 to reduce calories to approx. 310 calories, or leave out the banana and bring the total in under 275. I recommend full amounts however. Perhaps the most delicious meal you will eat. Try it. Life will change.0 -

My basic refrigerator oats recipe:

1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. wheat germ
1 tbsp. ground flax seed
1 cup almond milk
Then I add whatever I have fruit wise in the AM, my favorites are raspberries and mango.0 -
