Started a week and a half ago. I have lost 5 lbs...Sometimes I find it hard to eat as much as I am suppose to. It actually seems like I eat more than before I started the diet, because i am picking the right foods. I have stopped snacking on bad stuff and have replaced it with healthier foods. I love love love the fact you can find the foods you eat and it tells you instantly how many calories it is. Sometimes I plug things in to see how many calories they are, and then change to something better for me. I really like the fact you can eat bad, but balance it out the rest of the day ( but only every once in a while). I have always said dieting is about learning to re-eat. I do not believe in fad dieting, appetite suppressants...at some point you usually go back to real eating, and if you havent developed the tools to eat you will gain it right back. I am not going to spend a huge portion of the day exercising, but I am exercising more than before. I love to cook and I love to eat, so I truly believe I have been given a great opportunity to do both and be healthier. Yea me !!!

Congrats on the success so far!! What you're doing isn't dieting - it's a change in your lifestyle and how you eat, which is the only way one can be truly successful in weight loss and maintenance :)
  • I'm finding it hard to eat enough at the moment too - partly for the reasons you've listed, and partly due to a hectic and unpredictable work schedule (on call). I definitely agree with your philosophy - feel free to add me as a friend if you're looking to connect with others on the journey!
