I have lost weight doing a low carb diet, but now that I am weight training and doing cardio I decided to try this program so I could keep track of my calories, carbs and proteins. I find that I am at least 1,200 calories below the recommended amount every day and tend to have an additional 5-10 grams of protein. I read that for a woman my age, extra protein could be beneficial in warding off osteoporosis, but I'm still concerned. How do I add the extra calories with out adding the protein? I should say that I am also below my recommended amount of fats and carbs.
