Mine was from NY to CO.... it was all great until my AC died in NEBRASKA OR IOWA and all I smelt for miles was cow dung and more cow dung... along with all I saw was cow dung... lol

Also note to anyone ... seriously never watch "The Hills Have Eyes" the day before a road trip... messes you all up lol

NY to VA, my buddies and I went down to meet these girls we met on spring break for a massive block party at JMU, it was several thousand people, drinking from 11am-2am. Awesome time.

We also made the drive from NY to Panama City for spring break.

We drive from Louisiana to Maryland almost every year.Always in late November so it is cold as hell and we usually hit icy road. Which being in Louisiana is a rare thing to deal with. We take different routes and stop to hike. I love being on the road. I have always loved traveling. I just need to work my way to the west coast too.

From Salt Lake City, UT to Rapid City, SD (with 3 kids age 2,5,7)
From Salt Lake City to Cody, WY and Yellowstone (kids now 7,9,11)
From Salt Lake City to Dallas, sans kids, but with a bunch of girlfriends
From SLC to San Diego, solo

I love road trips! Getting there really is half the fun, especially when you're with great company. Still deciding where to go this year, but it has to be close-ish with a 9 month old baby

When I was a kid (7 years old), my mother, my sister (4 years old) and two aunts took two months and camped in a tent across the US. We started in Washington state and went to Kentucky (by way of Florida). I still remember parts of it. It was such a fun time for my sister and I.

Myself I have done the roadtrip from Wa to Ca a few times. Or my daughter and I will get in the car on a Saturday and pick a direction and just drive until we find something we want to check out. We ended up in Gilroy one time (about 5 hours from our house). Monterey another. It is always fun to just explore.

I've had several road trips as a child, but as an adult.. my first solo road trip was from Ohio to Phoenix, Arizona. Another few road trips done with my husband/kids have been Ohio to Niagara Falls, Canada; Ohio to Raleigh, NC (and then on to the OBX), Ohio to Myrtle Beach, SC and Ohio to Boston, MA.

I love traveling so any chance I get, I'm gone!

Before kids, from Colorado to Virginia right after husband and I got married. And in trying to replace the car cd changer, he clipped the wrong wire, so no radio or cd player the whole way. Lots of bonding that trip haha. Also the drive back, stopping through Florida, when his enlistment finished up, while I was about 6 months preggo.
Since we had kids, we haven't dared for anything longer than 6 hours. I think we may be ready for it soon, largely in thanks to the entire first season of My Little Ponies FIM on the hard drive of my tablet hehe.

Buffalo to Myrtle Beach for Spring Break and Buffalo to Panama City Beach, (twice), for Spring Break. Good times when you're with your friends on such a long drive. It was long before the days of GPS so it was fun to actually use a map and road signs.
For work I had to drive from AZ to GA then GA to NY. Did this trip solo and there was something really peaceful about being on the road by myself.

I took a road trip from Toronto, ON to Scott Depot, WV. 11 hour drive. It was a lot of fun, we brought some ganja with us so it made the trip less boring.

Back when the 'x' and I were together, we took a road trip from Duluth MN to Hotlanta GA....................he was relocating for a job.

The x was a road-rage driver, so many times it was rather unpleasant..........but I must say I saw sites that I remember to this day!

We also took our daughters to the Black Hills in SD.................a fun trip in many ways, but again, the road-rage thing was always an issue with this man!

I didn't get my license until I was 45 years old! But I've travelled alone from my home in Duluth to Des Moines, IA...........a few times

I picked up my daughter after texting her and inviting her for some Dairy Queen. Live in Sierra Vista, AZ. Drove up to Tucson...music was good, and so was conversation...so kept driving to Phoenix...en route to Phoenix, I saw the 8 to sunny San Diego so took that route. Enjoyed our Dairy Queen in Mission Bay, CA. Best road trip ever...

Every summer the hubby and I would pack our 3 kids into the back of our '81 Honda Accord and drive from L.A. to eastern WYO. Our little old car (and it got older and older as the years went by and the backseat got more full with growing girls) couldn't take the grades with the AC on, so we would have to climb the mountains with no AC, and on particularly steep grades, we would have to turn on the heater. We played 20 questions, sang "100 Bottles of Beer," the kids played their favorite cassettes -- over and over again.

I miss those days -- road trips seem so tame now.

So many I can't remember them all. One very memorable road trip from Salt Lake City, Utah to Cody, Wyoming. We had four adults, three kids ages 7, 9 and 11 and all our camping gear packed into a Dodge Durango. Fortunatly we picked up another vehicle in Cody, before going to camp in Yellowstone National Park. :noway:
