END OF SUMMER 2012 CHALLENGE

Hey all,

Let's get a support group started to encourage one another to lose a certain amount of weight by the end of the summer (officially ends September 21st). Let's encourage each other to exercise, eat right and rest properly!

Maybe we can even commit to walking a certain amount of minutes each day (EVERYONE)! Let's do this!!!

Post your current weight, your goal weight, and we will do a weekly weigh-in on Mondays!

Let's start off with our current weight and goal weight, and we'll do our 1st weigh in this Monday, July 2nd!

    I think this is a great idea! How about 30 minutes walking per day?

    I am in...

    We can do it! Walked 3 miles Sunday, set pace of 3.5 mph. :smile: My goal for the end of summer is...270 that would be 12 lbs, 1 lb per week.

    I try to walk daily, but I am trying to commit moreso to losing this weight so I'm willing to do more.....any suggestions?

    Sounds great! Pump it for at least out 30 minutes each day!!!! And don't forget to stay hydrated!

    I'm game. maybe it will help me lose more than .4 pounds I have been gaining and losing on a weekly basis if I had a little challenge!

    Okay didn't walk today but swam 1000 meters without stopping. I will get a walk in later this afternoon. Hope everyone is doing well. My weight doesn't seem to be budging this week, ugh. Not sure what is wrong. I really am working my plan with no cheats but it doesn't look like I will have lost anything by weigh in tomorrow. -:ohwell:

    I made my goal of 1 lb this week, just 11 more to go. I really hope I loose more than that but didn't want too much pressure. :flowerforyou:

    forgot to add current weight 150 and goal by september is 10lbs

    I'll join! I think a pound a week sounds great, so my goal will be to lose 12 pounds also.

    i walked four days and behaved myself. I didn't lose but I didn't gain either.:drinker:

    I am trying to do the c25k so on off days plan to walk 30 min. I have a little 8 week old that I'm BF'ing, so may have to adjust goal if it start to affect my milk supply.

    casdog812- everyday is a new start. Thats what I remind myself when I have a day that is not so good food wise or life wise.

    I think we are supposed to check in on mondays. But I weigh in on tuesdays so I just do it then.

    I would really love to be at 175 but with no thyroid, it's hard for me to lose weight so I'm being realistic with my goal!

    CW 287.7 this is a challenge to gain weight right. lol
    I did measure though last night and it looks like I lost about a half ink- inch in my hips and waist so I don't know. At least I will have a nice food diary to show the doctor if the time comes. ;)
