I have been losing steadily each week about 1-2 lbs ...yes I did have a few times where I did not lose or gain but then the following week I would lose like 2 lbs! this is the first week where it looks like I gained .8 lbs to be exact. Exercise 3 times a week, weights and cardio, yes I have either stayed under calorie goals (except proteins....always go over). This week I did have ONE day that I went over calories eating mini dessert samples at my job...but that was it....could that have really made the difference???

My normal daily calories burned (resting) is 1,710 calories.... Goal is 1300 cal... The day I ate desserts I prob went over like 300-400 cal.0

You really shouldn't worry about 0.8lb weight gain.0

My guess would be you ate something that is making you hold onto some water. .8 pounds is not something you need to worry about unless you start gaining it every week. If I eat certain foods I can gain up to 4 pounds seemingly over night - this isn't a real weight gain just water weight that passes in a couple of days. Congrats on being so close to goal!!!0

I know that personally when I reach about 5 lbs from goal I am going to start increasing my cals by a couple hundred a week, so that when I hit maintain I will already be around the cals I need for it your doing great .8 lbs is nothing, and if you didn't eat over (which you didn't) it is not fat, it can't be just a fluctuation I'm sure. Maybe you worked out hard the day before? The day after a big lifting session I always weigh about 2 lbs more then the day after a rest or cardio day. I already know its because my muscles are retaining fluid to repair themselfs so it doesn't bother me and it comes off as fast as I put it on (which kinda sucks lol, because my
Muscles look huge for about a day and a half then go back down haha) beast of luck to you0 -
If OP worked out then ate some carbs its water/glycogen storage.
This is normal.
I personally fluctuate 5lbs a day.0 -
If you're only 3 pounds from your goal, it's highly recommended you change your weekly weight loss to 1/2 pound a week - in other words, up the calories a bit so you're eating closer to your final maintenance calories goal.0
