I am loving black berries right now! so tasty, so low cal.
Sweet potatoes - I continue to find new ways to love them
Mushrooms - esp portobello - great meat substitute, great on the grill
and anything I can dip!0 -
berries - because they're so summer-y, and sugar snap peas because they are delicious! I also love roasted brussels sprouts! I don't think many people say that. lol
ETA: How can I forget mushrooms? I never liked them until recently and now I can't get enough!0 -
Leafy greens and berries ... Because they suit my goals right now.
I've been using a lot of spinach lately, cooked, 'cos it's much better for me than raw.
The whole 'Apple a day' deal is overrated in my opinion ...0 -
the fresh strawberries were wonderful and last week at the farmer's market I got some delicious potatoes and cucumbers. I am pretty picky about veggies, wish I liked more.0
-
Lately, I've been sooooo addicted to these red grapes from Aldi's. They're so crispy and juicy!
As for vegetables, I've been seriously snacking on edamame.
But generally, I'm kind of a fruit and veggie junkie. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries! Zucchini, squash, tomatoes! Anything I can get my hands on I'll eat.
Except mushrooms. I just can't eat spongy dirt, lol! (Unless they're minced, then I love the flavor.)0 -
veggies: spinach, broccoli, green beans, corn, bell peppers, beans (all types white kidney black garbanzo), cucumber, zucchini squash.
fruits: naval oranges, strawberries, banana, white grapes0 -
blackberries is God's gift to humans, bananas as well, eat them as is
strawberries with salads and in cold cereal
don't really like vegetables unless it's spinach (raw) in salads
i'll eat a salad from chik-fil-a with the raw broccoli, carrots, leafs, etc. but individually they're not my favorite
-oh but asparagus is tasty, cooked right0 -
On a summer squash and zucchini kick here recently.....yummmmm0
-
I like apples, blackberries, bananas, all sorts of fruit.
Veggies: cucumbers, carrots, spinach are my favorites! When my garden okra pops, though, that will be my favorite0 -
Strawberries, blueberries, and melon for fruit.
Asparagus, carrots and bell peppers for veggies.0 -
Navel and caracara oranges and clementines. Avocados, asparagus, Japanese cucumbers, Kabocha pumpkin, sweet potato, spinach.0
-
Greens, of any sort.
I don't particularly love them, but I find ways to incorporate them into my day every single day. I won't miss a day of greens because I know how good for the body they are, and also how good I feel when I eat them.
By greens, I mean:
kale
chard
collards
spinach
cabbage
lettuces
edible flowers0 -
I eat all the foliage.
Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, apples, avocado, tomatoes, beans beans beans, parsnips, sweet potatoes, swede/rutabaga, lettuce/various leaves, cucumber, peppers, mushrooms (especially the brown ones) carrots, CELERIAC (find one, peel it, dice, boil/steam, mash like potatoes, eat and you will never want mashed anything else) broccoli, asparagus, zucchini, butternut squash.0 -
We eat steamed vegetables a lot in my house and the current rotation includes carrots, peas, green beans, squash, zucchini. Our favorite fruits are bananas, apples, strawberries, blueberries, grapes and oranges. We also have a bit of watermelon and other berries over the summer.0
-

Oh wow, I crave and eat blueberries, strawberries, cherries, watermelon, nectarines, mangos, plums, tomatoes...green beans, peas, small new potatoes, corn on the cob...oh heck, if it's a fruit or veggie I'll eat it. (Except for cantaloupe...for some odd reason, I can't stand it.) :happy:0

I eat bananas A LOT. I LOVE bananas. Lately, MLW has been bringing home blue berries, raspberries and cherries. Love that stuff.
As for veggies I'll have summer squash, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers and green beans. Those are usually present in some capacity in my 'fridge.0 -
Honeycrisp apples when in season; juicy sweet and a little tart all at same time!
Fresh blackberries and raspberries year round: on morning bran cereal or with frozen yogurt at night.
Organic bananas just cause the type Vons carries are a little smaller than regular ones and *taste better*!
Bing cherries just came into season; I like to pick through the bags to get the nice red ripe ones that are still firm.
Summer fave is the saturn peach, also known as the doughnut peach; juicy, flavorful and fun to eat.
Melons, especially cantelope and watermelon (seedless);
Fresh strawberries from the fruitstand.
Fresh local Haas avocado and purple heritage tomatoes.
Red leaf lettuce and butter lettuce; yellow peppers, white corn. Thin asparagus. English hothouse cucumbers.
Yams, skin and all; purple potatoes and also baby red potatoes. Fresh sugar snap peas. Baby carrots.
Weird new fruit crosses like the black velvet apricot (skin is black-blue and velvety!) and "plumcots".
Of course oranges in season, satsuma tangerines that you just "zip" open, no seeds, red ruby grapefuit!
OK I'm dying to get to the fruitstand now!0 -
I LOVE all fruits and veggies.
I let the grocery sale ads dictate what I eat for the week. I buy only what is on sale each week. That way I am getting variety.
Strawberries & spinach are regulars in my daily intake. I eat them for breakfast (spinach omlettes) and together with other items as a salad.0 -
Peaches, watermelon, and cantaloupe.0
-
I have found that Schwans Frozen Mango fruit blend is amazing! Mostly because I get that and top it with fat free Cool Whip when my family eats ice cream! It is my frozen sweet treat to enjoy while the kids' enjoy theirs. Not exactly fresh, but they are flash frozen so the nutirents are retained0
-
We love zucchini and nearly always have some in the house. Baby carrots too. I love mushrooms but my partner doesn't est them so those are for when I'm cooking just for me. For fruits, I like just about every kind, but berries and canteloupe are probably my favorites.0
-
love brocoli, carrots, turnip, sweetcorn, peas e.t.c love bananas and melon and berries oh and pears love juicy pears - love pretty much most fruit and veg0
-
Fruits: strawberries, black berries, Granny Smith apples, seedless watermelon. I have a GS apple almost daily b/c they are pretty much addicting to me. SOOO tart and juicy. I've been on a blackberry kick since March and can't seem to get enough of them. I've always loved strawberries so that's a given. Watermelon is the perfect summer fruit to me and takes care of my sweet tooth.
Veggies: spinach, broccoli, green beans, spring mix salad leaves, romaine lettuce, roma tomatoes, grape tomatoes, snap peas, cabbage, mini cucumbers, bell peppers (any color). We have a big salad every night and toss in as many veggies as we can. Always loved any kind of tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. We do a lot of healthy stir fries and load those up with veggies, too. We've been using the romaine lettuce leaves as wraps for tacos, fajitas, sandwiches. Nom, nom, nom!!!!
I've been staying away from the starchy veggies like potatoes and corn b/c my body doesn't do as well with them.0 -
I bought black berries and raspberries this morning.
I eat watermelon, strawberries and blueberries the most.
I have a salad with spring mix lettuce, red onion bell pepper, and English cucumber for supper every week night. I also eat raw carrot and celery sticks every day.
Summer is a great time for good fresh fruit and vegetables.0 -
Blueberries, strawberries, cherries: antioxidants, vitamins, nutrients, and mood boosting effects (in my breakfast smoothie along with a variety of other ingredients)
Sugar snap peas, carrots, avocados, tomatoes, green beans, broccoli, various squashes, asparagus: good nutrient spread and keep me out of the candy bin at work0 -
I eat a lot of...
VEGGIES: zucchini, yellow summer squash, asparagus, BROCCOLI, tomatoes, cucumber, baby spinach, kale (mmm, kale chips!), baby carrots and celery for snacks, onion, mushrooms
FRUITS: blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, bananas (sparingly - they are good for you, but high in calories and carbs), right now the peaches in Texas are awesome!, watermelon, mango, pears
Summertime is the best for fruits and veggies!!0 -
I grow blackberries so I have been eating them alot. I eat stawberries and blueberries every day. I used to eat bananas but don't want to use up to many calories
My garden provides me with cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, peppers and zuchinni's so they are on our table daily0
