Hiya everyone. I'm new here [obviously].
I've been overweight my entire life, but I tipped the scale at 305 in late February. It broke my heart seeing that number because while I don't mind being "overweight" - this was just TOO much. I joined MFP 2 days ago and I currently weigh 289. I've managed to lose some weight on my own, but I came here for inspiration, motivation, and support.
I'm almost 27 years old, married to a wonderful man, and have two precious little girls. I'm a stay-at-home mom, but also a full-time student and I have a part-time home cake business. My husband is a truck driver, so I kinda do the "single" parent thing because he's only home for a few days every few weeks. He's very supportive in my goal to reach a happy weight, but I also hear from him that I'm "fine" the way that I am. I love that he loves me no matter what size I am, but I am not fine. My major weight gain came from 2 pregnancies and severe depression [which I'm overcoming] over a period of 6 years. It took awhile to get this heavy and I know it will take time to make it go away. I'm determined and I WILL get down to a healthier weight.
Feel free to add me.

Hi, well done for making the first step and joining up!
It sounds like you've made a great start on your own and I would love to offer you any support I can along the way.
We weigh a very similar amount so I guess that's as good a thing in common as any!!

I definitely understand what you mean. I've always been overweight/bigger, but there's a certain point where it gets to be too much. Feel free to add me and good luck!0
