The original "Hitcher" movie... okay, maybe it's not considered a horror movie. But it was pretty dang scary to me and I love it!

I saw Poltergeist when I was about 15. When the coffins all starting popping out of the freshly dug swimming pool, I lost it completely. Screamed like a little school girl. My older brother thought that was hilarious.

Oh, and I'm a 6'5" guy. Haven't been to a horror flick since...

If you saw it now it wouldn't scare you at all! We just finished watching all 3 (I guess that was all there was?) not too long ago. I can't get the hours back I wasted on 2 & 3, but it was worth seeing the first again. I love the Freddie and Saw movies. Still have to see Saw VI.

Will always be a fan of the classics from the 80s, but the one movie that actually gave me nightmares was "Scream" lol Now when I have nightmares they usually incorporate various scenes from Criminal Minds.

The first Nightmare on Elm Street (I was 8 - so it was scary) These days I just laugh at those kind.

    The Exorcist

Cujo also scared the crap out of me (I was 7 and when we got home and our dog ran up to us I screamed bloody murder)

These days what I consider scary is movies based on stuff that could really happen like The Strangers. I like thrillers. Anything that can play with your head.

Most scary, i.e. childhood nightmare scary, The Beast with FIve Fingers. About a severed hand that haunts a mansion and goes around killing people.

Favorite horror: Rocky Horror of course! Oh, Rocky!!!!

I have to add Teeth (for the girls) and Cabin Fever. Dead and Breakfast was dumb and funny, and there's a scene where the zombies are dancing and you just want to rewind it to hear the song again.
