eggs and/or egg whites are about the only thing on a vegetarian's list.

Thanks guys, I know it seems a daft question - but I keep thinking to myself I'm having a low carb meal and the carbs are creeping up and up!

    I'm not vegan/vegetarian!!

Yeah pretty much any kind of meat or eggs whites. You can use lettuce or large spinach leaves to make sandwiches.

Nuts have a lot of fat, and carbs, usually not so much in the protein department depending on the type. I recommend egg whites, fish, shrimp (1 shrimp has 7 calories and over 1g of protein), beef, chicken breast, elk, bison, etc.

I'd like to see that chart with protein attached. nuts tend to have high carbs, fats, and calories when you're looking for high protein sources as compared to lean meats and fishes in an ounce to ounce comparative.

    Protein shakes?

Zero carbs isn't realistically attainable, or at least I couldn't find foods that let me do it. Then I started working out and sort of had to up my carb intake.
