NSV and a sweet story of support

My NSV was kinda small and may seem silly but to me it's pretty huge. I have set a goal of doing 1 hour daily on my Mini-arm cycle... eventually. I started out only being able to do 10 in small minute long bursts. Today I did it for 40 minutes and went for 20 minutes, took less than a one minute break and then did the 2nd 20 minutes! *Does Happy Snoopy Dance*
Also, I have a Chair Dancing DVD for increasing Core Strength. Only, we don't have any chairs sturdy enough for my 446 lb self to wiggle around in and exercise. My FIL called today and found one he thought would work well for me. Unfortunately, it was too expensive for our bank account and I told him we'd have to pass on it but thanks for thinking about me.
He called later to tell me he had bought it for me. He also got a 2nd one for his house so when we come in to visit on the weekend I can bring my DVD along and exercise there as well. He said we didn't have to worry about paying him back for them because they were a gift to help encourage me to continue trying to get healthy and lose weight as well as a reward for how hard I've been working on it.
I have often wondered if the man likes me, he's very stoic and doesn't do the "I love you thing" much or the physical affection thing AT ALL. (I'm from a VERY affectionate and verbally expressive family so that is so FOREIGN to me) I guess I don't have to worry about it anymore.

That's an amazing NSV! Having family help and support you on your road to becoming healthy is a major thing! Unfortunately, there is far too much jealousy and sabotaging going on with others who are trying to help themselves by friends or family. Your father-in-law probably doesn't know how to express that he cares about you, but his gifts show that he clearly does! Good luck on your journey, and I am so happy you have people help you along!0
