I have lost 29 lbs and only have 4 more to go
But I constantly have to remember that this is a lifestyle not a diet. I will forever need to exercise and always hold myself accountable for the foods I eat. I never set goals during my journey, I just let me body be my guide. I stayed focused and remembered that I needed to be patient. Once I get to my goal weight I often wonder what will change, then I realize nothing will. I will still eat healthy and work out. This is the new me. The healthier and better me. I hope that everyone will remember that weight loss is wonderul however it is a journey. Somedays I don't want to exercise and occasionally I want to eat cookies and have things that are bad for me LOL and that is ok. However to be a thinner healthier me I must eat good food and challenge my body. It is ok to put yourself first, it might actually benefit your entire family. I hope this might help someone who is struggling. I am healthier and thinner than I have been since before I had my last child who is almost 11. This is your time, take charge and begin your journey!

When I first began back in February i set my calorie goal between 1200-1330 and exercised an hour a day five days a week. I really didn't focus on the calories burned when I was exercising mainly just to get my body moving again, Slowly I have gotten in better shape and now work out sometimes 1 1/2 to 2 hr daily depending on my time and try to burn 500 calories daily minimum. I began to platue about 1 1/2 months ago and since I have upped my calories and changed things around. I average around 1400-1500 calories daily now. I have always tried to remember that my body will lead me and sometimes I didn't loose much weight but kept right on going, It can be so hard to keep working out and eating right if you don't see a change but I just kept on going. I look back now and am so grateful that I never gave up. I have friends who joined MFP when I did and really didn't stay focused and since have cancelled their account. Now they cannot believe the changes I have made. You have to believe that your worth it!!!!!!0

Thanks!
I also work out on average 2 hours a day. Eat between 1200 - 1400 calories a day. This is just maintaining me. So far it's been a year of the 2 hour workouts, but not sure if this is a lifetime lifestyle. Would love to see the weight come off and not maintain. Some days I feel the 2 hour workouts wear me out.0
