pepper steak & couscous

This is a simple recipe I whip up in a minute at home.

You can buy small pepper steaks at the market. Marinate it with soy sauce, salt & pepper. You can let it sit overnight.

Heat chicken or vegetable broth in a small saucepan until boiled.
Pour broth over couscous and let cook. (They cook in only a few minutes)

Cook steaks on a hot skillet and then cut into small strips.

Serve over the couscous with some veggies.

The sauce from the meat is just enough for the couscous which is already tasty from the broth.

simple and yummy!

    Mmmm... I love cous cous. I've never seen it in it's own package at the store though... just those pre-maid mixes. I'll have to look for it! (and see if Scott will actually eat it... hehe)
