I am trying to lose weight for my daughter's wedding next July. I have been here for about 7 weeks and have lost 24 pounds. I love the support. Add me if you like.
  • I am also trying to lose weight for my wedding this September. I literally JUST started my diet and everything on Monday. I have already lost 5lbs. This site has helped me keep track of what and how I am eating. Clearly it is helping. I quit drinking soda, and I recently quit smoking as well. I feel heathier already! Now if I can get that 15lbs off before September that would be wonderful! I do want to lose 35 altogether.

Hey guys, my weight loss adventure started because I was getting married. In January of this year I was newly engaged and weighed in at a monster 244lbs, Now just over 6 months later I've lost 77lbs and I'm down to 167lbs. I've started weight training at the gym and I'm doing all sorts of exercise and I'm even doing a hike across 3 peaks here in the UK for charity. If I can do it pretty much anyone can I reckon. To begin with things moved quickly and went well. I have been having problems now I'm past my goal weight. My fitness has improved but I kept my calories low. This really messed me up and I was having dizzy spells and aches and pains all over my body. With my trainers help my calories are now back up to near normal levels and I'm able to work harder on my fitness. Just have to work off the last little area of fat around my stomach. Plus buy a new suit as the old one's a bit baggy these days!
