One week into MFP

My first week on the program was awsome walked on treadmill 6 days ate within my calorie limits and lost 8lbs and feeling great.

  • My first week I show I lost 6 lbs? Is that possible?:noway: Maybe the scale was a little off last week when I weighed in.

    Thanks! And all I did was some major house cleaning this past weekend as far as exercise! :happy:

    It happens a lot in the first week due to loss of water weight & shocking your body. Keep it up and don't get discouraged when the big losses stop (ex you plateau or your losses go down to 1 - 2 lbs per week).

    Keep with it and you'll get down to your goal weight healthily!

    When you have a lot of weight to lose, it comes off fast at first and then slows down......the trick is to keep on keeping on and never give up.......if you log your food and exercise every day you will stay focused. If you find a group or challenge and check in with them every day you will get ideas and encouragement so you can continue on the right path.

    It works.......it really does.:bigsmile: :bigsmile:
