What is your favorite mini meals?
I found a healthy eating plan (very clean and unprocessed) in a magazine and I started trying it out. I am going with eating about 1300-1400 a day separated into 5 mini meals. I think I am really going to like it and stick with it. However, they didn't give very many meal choices (2 for breakfast, 3 for lunch, and I think 4 for dinner.) There wasn't a whole lot of variety to it, so I am trying to expand my menu. This morning, I have a mini cup of Better n Eggs on 2 pieces of light wheat toast and 1/2 cup watermelon. I need more suggestions!! Fire away...
*I know all about goggle, I have searched on there, I just want to see what you all have come up with!*

For a snack you could pop your own popcorn (no seasoning), fruit, crudites and hummus or a dip
Lunch, slice of bread made into a sandwich with fillings like hummus and carrot, or red peppers and cream cheese, smoked fish and salad, tuna on jacket potato
Make soups for dinner, stir fry, chicken breast and grilled veggies, lamb chops and cous cous, salmon fillet and new potatoes
Oatmeal and banana for breakfast, smoothies, juices, cereals, make yourself a healthy grilled breakfast (bacon, egg, tomatoes and mushrooms)
Haha I don't know why I've put them in this random order!!0 -

I consider any meal fair game for any time of day... this helps me "think' I have more variety even when I'm eating generally the same stuff over and over.
I'm always a fan of egg whites on a tosted english muffin with tomato slices and turkey bacon. I also like any type of sandwhich in wrap style to cut down on the carbs. And of course my fav is Shakeology
Good luck! Eating 5-6 small meals has been very helpful for me, but it certainly takes a bit of planning in the beginning and anytime you decide you want to switch your meals up.
Best wishes:)0 -
tuna with lemon and light mayo, and spicy mustard on a whole wheat flat bread, with a side of onion
