Anybody out there given themselves a reward once they reach their goal? I have broken my ultimate weight loss goal into 4 mini goals. I want to celebrate each one! Lemme know what you have done to congratulate yourself!

I've done the same thing by breaking it down into mini goals. Everytime I reach one I buy a new piece of clothing to add to my wardrobe. I just made one of my mini goals and I bought myself a pair of cute shorts from a store I havent been able to shop at in 6 years. And sometimes it will be a new workout dvd that I have been eyeing or a new workout outfit.0

Sweet! Thanks!0

Well I have been wanting a Havanese puppy for a while now. So in another 53 lbs I get one!0

I am planning a facial/spa day. Something along those lines. I am not a girly girl so this seems really special to me!0

Goals change week by week and I celebrate no matter when I achieve my mini goals of 5 lbs at a time -- beat the time limit twice in less than 8 days -- down went to Amstel lights -- then back to my water. Celebrate and move on to the next goal!!0

Ive set mini goals..the first one is on my bday(July 27th) if ive lost 12 lbs(ive lost 3) then my mom and i are going on a girly day trip:)...next goal with be probably some new boots lol....when i finally reach my goal i will FINALLY buy some Frye boots!ha ha....0

everytime I meet a goal (weight loss, lifting PR, speed PR, distance PR, dropping a size, etc) I reward myself with things that will get me pumped for my next workout, aka the first step toward my next goal.
ie
10 new tunes for my workout playlist
a new piece of workout clothing
new running shoes
a stretch DVD
a day pass at a swanky gym
a free trial with a trainer
a brand new run route
new earbuds
5 playtime workouts (swimming, hula hooping, playing on the trampoline, etc)
working out with a fun buddy
new cookbooks
an extra $50 to splurge on amazing groceries
cooking myself a (small portioned) 4 course meal, every dish top'cheffed and photographed (and I can live off the leftovers for a couple days)
new containers to bring my food to work
fun teas
silly running socks
a living social deal for an out of the box fitness day
i could go on forever.0 -

I haven't really done mini goals, since my weight loss isn't about reaching a goal but changing to a healthy lifestyle for life. Still, when I get to the size I think I will be maintaining, I plan on getting a tattoo as my reward.0

When I hit 210 I want to cut my hair and dye it red.
By 190 I will definently need new clothes.

I don't have many short-term goals, but I have cut my weight loss up into two parts. Part 1 - 200 . Part 2 - 160/150. I plan on buying a whole new wardrobe when I reach my UGW. The halfway mark is I get to put some new music on my iPod.0

Stumbled on your post. I have an eleven month old Havanese. They are wonderful. What a great reward to work for! She motivates me to exercise more too, as she loves to get out and walk.0

I think that rewards are great to give yourself during a journey like weightless.
I have an overall goal of 100lbs lost....I didn't start rewarding myself till the 50lb mark
50lbs: I went skydiving!!! Something I always wanted to do, but just was always to big. At 50lbs I was below the maximum weight. It was amazing!
75lbs: Im about 12lbs away from that goal, and there I am going to buy myself an iPad...
100lbs: I am going to go on a vacation....either hawaii, the Caribbean or europe.0 -
I reward myself with a jar of peanut butter. lol. no, i only do that once every few weeks or so, if i'm good at sticking to my diet. i believe in letting myself have one cheat day per week. it works good for me, and i'm still losing weight.0

Every 5 pounds, I would get a medi/pedi. 10 pounds clothes, when I hit 40 pounds I got a tattoo and when I hit my goal of 56 pounds it'll be new clothes or a coach purse.0
-
When I drop the 1st 50lbs, I am going to Coach Outlet for a new bag!!! I have always refused to spend that kind of $ on a purse, but I want one, so I figure 50lbs is worth that!!0

I love these!! ESPECIALLY the hour massage....that's probably how I will reward myself when I meet EVERY goal hahaha0 -
Let's see...I've bought new clothing (had to since I went from a 12 to a 4) and got a new hair do. Once I hit my next goal (which is to run a marathon someday) I'll reward myself with a new tattoo.0

My rewards:
Under 140: New workout outfit
Under 135: Polar Heart Rate Monitor
Under 130: Spin Shoes
Under 125: Reformer Pilates Sessions
120 (GOAL!): Not sure yet, but something expensive and non fitness related lol. Probably a bag or some sunglasses!0
