I am looking for a low calorie high protein bar. I would prefer the nut free due to allergies.

they are about $2 a bar, you get them online. The flavors are great. 20 g of protein and some are under 200 calories. I know you said "prefer" on the nut free, but didn't know if that was a must. I think they use like pb and almond butters. But they are my go to bars and I love them. They have some natural lines and gluten free stuff, so not sure if they have some nut free ones. But you could look into it. I love the strawberry cheesecake, the pb&j and the cinnamon roll. Yum Yum Yum.0 -
I've been eating Special K bars, they taste like a candy bar to me!0

Hmm..almost everyone I know of has nuts. I found this though. Perhaps try making your own? http://wholewithoutwheat.wordpress.com/2012/01/19/homemade-gluten-free-nut-free-dairy-free-soy-free-protein-bars/0

I like Quest Bars 20g Protein for 170 Calories also 17g of fiber for a bonus.0

My two favorites are the PowerCrunch bars and ProMax Low Sugar. They are both around 200 cals. Lower cal ones tend to really just be smaller. LOL0

I like the Pure Protein bars. less calories than other brands but punch more protein at 20g per bar. win win. also, not too bad on the sugar at 3g compared to other brands at 6-10g sugar.0

Not sure how you define "high protein. I like Perfect Fit cookies by Boundless Nutrition. Chocolate Chip is
Gluten Free, 150 calories, 10g protein, 4 g fiber. Chocolate chip, peanut butter or macadamia nut. all are yummy.0 -
I like Met-Rx's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough protein bars. 370 Calories, 28g of protein, 6g fat, 50g carbs. Relative to other protein bars with 30g of protein, the fat and calorie content is pretty good I think. It also can double as a meal replacement bar.0
