what kind of degree did you need to get? was it hard finding/ keeping jobs? how is the pay?

For me, I was able to get my BA with double endorsements in Elementary Education and Physical Education. In both states where I've taught, I needed to then take a test in order to get my teaching license.
Jobs can be hard to come by, since the position is specialized...also, many school districts are cutting PE hours, so that makes up for lack of jobs. As far as pay, it just depends on where you are...0 -

there is a job available at one of the local middle schools by me and it got me thinking it might be a good job for me. :-) i don't have time to go back to school for a degree in education though....... i have my bachelors of science in nursing........0
