I wanna try some 2moro. The serving size is 1/4 cup dry (46g). How much will that make cooked? And how much water should I cook that 1/4 cup in?

rinse it well before cooking or else it will have a bitterness.
put the drained quinoa in a pot with some olive oil over med heat and toss it until it starts to brown a tiny bit and smell nutty.
then add your cooking liquid. i love using a low sodium vegetable broth (organic of course).
the cooking ratio is 1:2 (1 part quinoa to 2 parts water).
the dry to cooked ratio is 1:3 (1 part dry quinoa equals 3 parts cooked).
right before i take it off the stove i love to add some fresh chopped parsley, or cilantro with a squeeze of lime.0 -
2 parts liquid to 1 part quinoa. So, for 1/4 cup quinoa, 1/2 cup of liquid. It should come to (roughly) 3/4 cup cooked. Also, if you have it on hand, I highly recommend cooking it with chicken stock instead of water (low sodium if you're watching salt). It really elevates the flavor. I like mine with sautéed onions and a bit of shaved Parmesan. It's unbelievably tasty.0
