Hello, just started here yesterday ^_^ I am currently 220 pounds -_- and only 20 years old. Sadly I have been overweight my whole life. I have been watching my calories and fat content of late along with my riding my bike to and from work (three miles). There is a little note at the bottom of the food tab when imputing what you ate that says you should keep a 1200 calorie day so your body does not feel like it is starving, but I feel like I am eating more then I normally do? Did anyone who has been using this site feel that way when they started? Or know why I feel that way?
I appreciate the help and would love to meet new people on here for support and to give support!

Welcome.... I have only been on MFP for a couple weeks. I felt that way to and just figured that it is because my food choices were different. I am paying more attention to what I am eating than I was before. Feel free to add me, I am on everyday and would welcome the support to!!0

Welcome to MFP! I still feel that way, and it's been almost a week for me! I normally eat way lesser calories, now I'm eating the right amount to boost my metabolism which is 1270. Trust me when I earn more calories to eat I say to myself how are you going to eat all this food to meet your goals, so I feel like I’m over eating. I'm doing the very best I can to meet those goals, it gets better and easier each day!0

Thanks! At least now I know it is not just me! Lol I am trying to be strong though, I came home to find carls jr burger in the fridge and almost ate one! Instead I logged onto here after I made the salad I was already planning on eating. ^_^0

welcome MFP. its great isn't it. Im the same with the food. But I used to eat loads of rubbish too. I guess it beacuse we're thinking about what we are eating so we make the healthier and lighter choices. Feel free to add me.0
