Manchester Expo 21st July- Doctor Who or Battle Royale?

So I've basically got my costume for Amy Pond, it was fairly simple cos it's basically normal clothes and some ginge hair dye, but now my friend is all "I'm going as Kazuo Kiryama, you should go as Mitsuko Souma and be a double act with me!!"

So now I'm like omg what to dooo, because the BR one sounds dead fun but I was really hyped for Amy Pond!! Also it would mean buying more stuff when I already have a costume sorted, and I wouldn't be able to wear them as normal clothes cos I'd get fake blood on them. I suppose it's a ready made fancy dress costume, and I wouldn't have to dye my hair but still....hmmm

    Mitsuko Souma without a doubt.

    Then you could be all uber cool at the expo and say stuff like "Yeah, I know, the Hunger Games was like a total rip off of Battle Royale except without the skillful plot development" and "Kids these days. What do they know about Sci Fi? Pffffft"

    No doubt that Battle Royale is a far more sophisticated novel than the Hunger Games. That, I think, is undeniable but to be fair to Suzanne Collins the audience for which her books were intended is different.

    Have fun at the Expo ;)

    I'm sure you won't annoy anyone running around like a mad woman shouting "Doctoooooor" at the top of your voice.
