Favorite Fitness Equipment

My mom bought be an ironman watch at walmart today. I tried to talk her out of it because I felt guilty for her just spoiling me for no reason but she is like, "You aren't going to do any triathlons after your birthday" (which is in late sept) and buys it anyways. I am pretty excited to take it for a test drive today at the pool and get probably even test my splits. I am hoping to improve to a sub 2 minute 100 m split (I am a slooow swimmer, what can I say?) I literally have so many fitness toys....love them!!!
So, my question is....what is your favorite piece of fitness equipment and why?
Mine would still have to be my Garmin Forerunner 410CX, a heart rate monitor and GPS all rolled into one. I love that I can just go for a run, walk, ride, whatever and it will tell me my mileage and heart rate and calories burned, etc. I like having the data!

Looveeee my Polar FT4, but when it comes to actual gym equipment other than free weights I LOVE the stairmill because I can really feel the productive burn. I work up a huge sweat and feel badass when I do it, lol.0

If I was to chose a single piece of equipment.... I would say my road bike. I love to bike!! As often and as far as possible.0

Oh, I almost completely forgot about my road bike, that thing is awesome!!! What kind do you have? I have a Lexa Trek but one day I hope to get a Cervelo tribike....they make some sweet looking rides.0 -
Good question but tricky if we are to just choose one item.
-My gym bike is great because I can burn calories by pedalling whenever I want irrespective of time and weather. I often put in 30 minutes while waiting for something on TV or something to cook. I'll read while using it.
-My kettlebell is great because I can just throw it around without risking a stray weight coming off it had I done the same thing too many times with a dumbbell.
-My pull up bar is great for working the lats with pull ups, the biceps with chin ups, the abs with toe-to-bar leg raises, the grip by just hanging on the tips of my fingers.
-My Pro-Trek watch is great because I can predict the weather for the next few hours. It has a compass if I should need it. The best bit about it is the repeating countdown timer. Great for HIIT training!0 -
The Smith machine, but I doubt I could fit one in my home0

My absolute favorites are my sports bra and my sneakers...
but I also enjoy my yoga mat, my dumb bells, my resistance bands, and my jump rope. Each of these are easy to use, inexpensive, and somewhat versatile.0 -
ditto that--if i could wear my sports bra and sneakers everywhere, i would. next "fun" purchase--running leggings. can't wait!0
