Pillsbury apple turnovers

Whoever posted the pillsbury apple turnovers last year - you are a saint.
These are fantastic right out of the oven. I figured for 4th of July I wanted an apple dessert - but not a pie.
These were simple and sooooo good. I used less sugar than recipe called for, but I added 6 pieces of mini caramel bits to the center.
