Using Weight Watchers to get myself on a balanced diet??

I need something to LAYOUT what I should, and should be eating... I need a good healthy, balanced nutrition plan. I am not overweight, and workout regularly. Good idea? Or bad?

I did just THAT about 6 months ago. I wasn't overweight, either and did it for the same reasons as you. It worked great for me. I just did the online version and only for a couple months.... just enough! :)

I think WW is a great plan for education but if you're not overweight you're paying for a weight loss plan you don't need. There are some great books on nutrition. It's not that hard. I would read 'In Defense of Food' by Michael Pollan (or 'Food Rules', if you want more of a booklet version). Or if you want free and immediate, read the USDA's ChooseMyPlate.gov site.

I migrated to MFP from WW. To be honest I think there is more information here than there is on the WW forums. I would suggest you save the money.
