I am in such a dilemma i really need advice what ever you think. Just say it, as it is, I'll make the decision.
Simply put: I was 13st 3lb then I went to 10st...... people kept saying "dont lose anymore" or " you should stop now" etc etc etc. However I still had some fat I think but i listened and stopped losing. In the back of my mind I didnt want to stop (just yet) but I listed to people.
So basically I binned it and started to eat what the hell I wanted. I have just lost the 24lb i put on again and i'm thankfully back to where I was.
So back to my problem I think I should work to lose half a stone where I think i should be, my wife thinks its skin, I think there is a six pack under there. I'm fit, I run, I cycle, and use the gym, I feel fantastic and I think I should go for it.
What would you do?

Honestly if you are feeling good and healthy and feel like you would like to drop a few more lbs... then go for it
However sometimes our brain doesnt see whats actually in the mirrror. I would consult your Dr and see what he/she thinks. They will not steer you wrong when it comes to weight loss. they will let you know if its ok to lose more or if its time to just maintain.0 -
My advice is go by what is supposed to be a healthy weight range for your height, not by what's in the mirror. Our preconceived notions and body image issues can really cloud what we see. I remember being down to 116 lbs, which was several below the minimum for my height, and still thinking if I lost a few more I'd lose the little pouch of stomach I had left. But, frankly, I could get down to 100 lbs and still have a pouch. It's just the way my body is made. Looking back at pictures of myself, I was rail thin in the legs and arms with my big barrel rib cage - kind of looked like the tin man. So don't rely too much on what you see, go by what's healthy.0

OP look into cyclical dieting.
Thats where you eat above TDEE 3 days a week to promote possible muscle growth but eat below TDEE on rest days to promote fat loss.
Check the link on my profile for info on how to get your numbers.0 -
What's that saying? If you can pinch an inch off your midsection, it's not skin? To get an idea of how thin skin actually is, pinch the back of your hand.
If I were you, I'd go get that six pack.0 -
This site has had several people say that even at a low weight they still can see fat in the midsection. The vast majority have advised weight training instead of losing more weight to get the effect you want. Look for some great midsection exercises or use gym equipment to get that six pack. You may not really have to lose any more weight. Good luck!0
