The last 10...

I'm so frustrated! I've plateaued at the last 10 pounds of my weight goal. I've decreased calories and increased exercise, but if anything I have gained a pound. I'm so frustrated. Any suggestions?!

You wont lose it that way.

    Heres how its done:

    Find your TDEE.
On lifting days youll eat 20-30% above TDEE.
On rest days youll eat 10-15% below TDEE.

Try to only lift 3x a week and rest for 4 and youll get there.

The last 10 is stubborn fat so its going to take time.
If on rest days you need to do cardio, try to only run on an empty stomach first thing in the morning for about 20 mins tops.

Well .... cutting down on cals and upping exercise might make your body think it's in starvation mode or you maybe adding muscle???? Go back and look at what you were doing a while ago and I would def up your cals again. The last 10 pounds will be the hardest as I always think when you start out it's easier to lose weight. When you have less to lose it's harder as there is less to go. I have lost 31lbs since Nov 2011 the first stone and half (21lbs) in two months then the other 10 pounds has taken the last 5 months - lose a pound gain a pound etc. I still want to lose another 22 pounds so am figuring slow and steady wins the race!!

Thank you for all of your replies. I have calculated my TDEE and I don't eat near that many calories in a day normally. Maybe I do need to eat a little more. I appreciate your guys' help!

Change you exercise routine totally and eat some different foods more fiber maybe. Also sometimes eating more actually helps depending on what and how much.

Consider doing a cleanse. There are some pounds that can't be lost by exercise or even dieting.
