10 weeks ago today i was a stone (14lbs) heavier than what I am today. Slow but sure. Would have been quicker but I love my wine too much LOL.
I promised myself when I lost a stone (which I have ) I would treat myself to a long awaited chinese. HOWEVER, I dont want it. Well I do really but I prefer to lose the weight and a chinese is not a good option. How good am I?

You are great. Once you understand what you put in your mouth effects the hips you start looking at food different.
I have control now not food.0 -

Nice work!
What about searching the internet and find a few recipes for your favourite chinese food and make it at home to treat yourself? You can make variations of most things at home that are much healthier!0 -
Thats a good idea. I could do a low fat chicken fried rice, thanks0

well done hun, and great nsv. we have a very nice chinese all u can eat buffet that is soooo nice. but only been once since the start of my journey. made sure i had lost over half of my goal before i went. i think if u say no 99% of the time that 1%yes gets u thru not quitting.
remember healthy lifestyle is long term and you are doing so well.0 -
Well done! I like my alcohol too so i'm losing much slower than I'd like to but not going insane0

I set mini targets that are easier to achieve and like to give myself treats when I get there. It's good you didn't want the Chinese but I might have had it. I wouldn't have gone overboard and can always compensate for it for a few days later. I will not just stop eating food for the rest of my life just because I might put on a tiny bit of weight. It can be exercised off afterwards.
Another 5 pounds and I will give myself a little treat as it will be 13 stone loss (182 pounds). Not sure what it will be yet but it will still be in my calorie limit.0
